WHERE TO RIDE IN VICTORIA

Here at EagleRider Melbourne we have some of the best motorcycle rides in Australia on our door step.  We are just a short trip away from the Great Ocean Road, the Mornington Peninsula, Phillip Island, the Yarra Valley and it is easy to head off to North East Victoria. The Great Ocean Road

The Great Ocean Road is one of the world’s most scenic coastal drives and has been voted one of the top 10 motorcycle rides in Australia. Imagine riding a motorcycle along a stunning coastline viewing iconic surf breaks, pristine rainforest and misty waterfalls as you go.  If you have the time go bushwalking, surfing, mountain biking or take the cultural route through galleries, museums and heritage attractions. Visit the beautiful coastal towns of Torquay, Lorne, Apollo Bay, Port Campbell and more.

Mornington Peninsula

Pick up a motorcycle from EagleRider Melbourne and a short time later you will be winding around the eastern side of Port Phillip Bay taking in vast ocean views, rugged coastal scenery and sheltered beaches. Stop along the way for coffee, wine or the freshest local produce and discover the laid-back charm and the village welcomes that are quintessentially Victorian. As well as being known for great motorcycling the area is known for boutique wineries and acclaimed restaurants, art galleries, manicured gardens, geothermal springs and renowned golf courses.

The Yarra Valley and Black Spur

The Yarra Valley has so much to offer the visitor we do not know how to start describing the area.  Visitors can take an early morning balloon flight, meet passionate food and wine producers, and encounter a platypus at Healesville Sanctuary in the Yarra Valley. Wander the walking trails, meander the villages and discover the hidden delights of the Dandenong Ranges among its scenic winding roads, abundant artist studios, craft stores and renowned gardens.  The Black Spur in the heart of the Yarra Valley, just outside Healesville, is also acknowledged as one of Australia’s top 10 motorcycle roads.  Visit on any day of the week and join other motorcyclists as they take the trip over the Spur to Marysville and back again.

Phillip Island

Visiting Phillip Island puts you at a location with iconic wildlife (see the Penguin Parade and look for Koalas), pristine beaches and the islands famous motor racing circuit, the home of the Australian Motorcycle Grand Prix. We can provide trip directions that takes you there the long way but you will travel over the hills taking in fantastic views on roads that could have been built for motorcycles.

North East Victoria

North East Victoria is a fabulous motorcycle ride destination at this time of year.  The weather is just right, not to hot, not to cold.  Just right.  There are plenty of places to visit; Bright, Beechworth, Yackandandah, Milawa and if you have time, pop across to the wineries at Rutherglen.
